Mimi's Place in Tampa is a transitional living program providing safe, furnished, drug- and alcohol-free housing for independent adults navigating discharge, loss, or crisis. Structured routines, clinical insight, and compassionate support protect health, prevent setbacks, and promote steady progress toward long-term stability and independence.
Our Recovery Environment
Dedicated to short-term post-hospital discharge and medical respite housing. We bridge the gap between facility discharge and independent living, providing a safe residential setting for stable individuals to fully recover.
Our Reintegration Environment
Dedicated to safe, shared, and stable housing for independent men, including seniors, veterans, adults with disabilities, domestic violence survivors, and individuals requiring reentry support.
Safe, short-term housing bridging the critical gap between hospital discharge and full independent living.
A supportive, shared environment helping independent men build stability, accountability, and community roots.
Both properties offer a strictly managed, secure, and sober environment focused on personal dignity.
We provide clinically informed, drug- and alcohol-free transitional housing that protects safety, preserves dignity, and strengthens independence, bridging healthcare discharge and community stability for adults navigating vulnerable life transitions.
Mimi's Place grew out of years in nursing and case management, where we saw too many adults discharged into unsafe or unstable conditions. Our family-owned, Black- and female-owned program is grounded in real clinical experience, cultural humility, and respect for independence. Learn how our mission shapes everyday care.

Founder & Program Administrator
Professional nursing, healthcare case management, and healthcare administration to oversee safe, and compliant transitional housing for adults in Tampa, Florida.
Your journey begins with a free, by-appointment consultation where we review medical, social, and housing needs. Next, we recommend the most suitable Mimi's Place home, explain house guidelines, and coordinate with healthcare or case managers. Once admitted, residents settle into furnished, drug- and alcohol-free housing with clear routines. We then provide ongoing check-ins, connect community resources, and support residents as they work toward long-term stability and independence.
